About Kate
With over 20 years of leadership experience, I understand the weight of responsibility—the pressure to drive results while privately questioning if you’re doing it “right.” I’ve led teams, navigated mission-driven leadership, and achieved meaningful outcomes. But I also know what it feels like to lose yourself in the process. For years I searched for external solutions, only to realize the answers were already within me.
When I learned to trust my intuition and align my leadership with my values, everything changed. Now, I help others do the same.
I bring extensive experience in non-profit fundraising and have worked closely with ultra high net worth individuals, private and community foundations, corporations and family offices. My work has focused on complex issues related to youth mental health, environmental conservation, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, human rights, and juvenile justice.
My background and credentials:
Associate Certified Coach (ACC), International Coaching Federation
Certificate in Executive Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University
Master of Social Work (MSW) from Hunter College School of Social Work
Institute Training in Family Systems Therapy, Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy
Service as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at the San Francisco Zen Center, Safe & Sound, Truckee Donner Land Trust, Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation, and Gateway Mountain Center, and as an Advocate for both Human Rights Watch and GLSEN.
Breathtaking North Lake Tahoe is home. I’m a former competitive sweep rower, mother of two grown boys, and cherish the mountain lifestyle – hiking, mountain biking, and practicing yoga.
